About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically rigorous FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will own the company’s cost structure end-to-end—spanning COGS, R&D, G&A, Capex, and cash flow—and serve as the go-to financial partner for department leaders across the organization.

You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving our consolidated forecast model as you deliver variance analysis and actionable insights that help leadership make better, faster decisions. This is a high-visibility role that offers significant exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape how we plan, measure, and invest as a leading SaaS business.

Compensation This position offers $115,000-$130,000 depending on qualifications, skills and experience.

Primary Responsibilities & Expectations

Forecast Model & Financial Planning

  • Own the consolidated forecast model front-to-back, including monthly actuals integration, driver-based assumptions, and scenario analysis
  • Maintain and update cost modules for COGS, R&D, G&A, Capex, and below-the-line expenses
  • Forecast key drivers of cash flow including net working capital, capital expenditures, and non-operating items
  • Lead all cost-side reforecasting cycles and annual budgeting processes
  • Revise the latest outlook based on headcount planning changes, non-compensation adjustments, and topline forecast shifts

Monthly Close & Reporting

  • Support monthly close by reconciling key accounts, validating expense data, and ensuring reporting accuracy
  • Analyze departmental and consolidated results, identify key cost drivers, and prepare variance commentary
  • Prepare flux analysis and contribute to the consolidated P&L narrative for board and investor reporting

Cross-Functional Business Partnering

  • Partner with department leads and budget owners to validate outlook assumptions for both compensation and non-compensation spend
  • Conduct weekly and monthly touchbases with budget owners to stay ahead of cost movements
  • Collaborate with Operations leaders to develop dashboards and KPI tracking for utilization rates, capacity planning, and margin analysis
  • Partner with R&D leadership to analyze trends within COGS, engineering investment, and software spend
  • Work with G&A leaders to track and monitor merchant fees, IT spend, and other key administrative expenses

Strategic Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support cost modeling for add-on acquisitions and M&A diligence efforts
  • Drive automation and digitization of FP&A processes through Workday Adaptive Planning, AI tooling, and improved dashboarding
  • Contribute to headcount planning and workforce cost modeling across the organization
  • Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions
  • Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
  • An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or a related analytical role
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong financial modeling skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex, driver-based forecasting models
  • Solid understanding of full P&L, including COGS structure, gross margin dynamics, and unit economics
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity, independently structuring new analyses in response to evolving business dynamics and company strategy
Skills Preferred
  • Experience with EPM tools (Workday Adaptive Planning strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with headcount planning and workforce cost modeling
  • Experience with recurring, SaaS-based business models
  • Prior exposure to M&A due diligence or integration cost modeling
  • Knowledge of cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and capital expenditure planning
