What We Do

We’re a marketing software company that serves small business owners, primarily financial advisors, and insurance agents. About 40,000 small businesses use our tools to build websites and send out our content. Generally, these businesses don’t have marketing departments but are growth-minded enough to know they need to market themselves.

We help them do just that. We work together to create beautiful website designs, automated marketing tools, and award-winning educational content for them. The end goal is to help them build better relationships with their clients with less hands-on effort.

Compensation This position offers $130,000-$150,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities & Expectations

  • This role generally boils down to 3 responsibilities: People, Process, and Technology. The most important is investing in people so they can be their best selves, learn and grow, and be given every opportunity to succeed. Sometimes that means changing processes to make continuous improvements, removing roadblocks, or leading a project to automate something that was manual. You’re not afraid to go deep into technical problems to help engineers create better solutions and deliver value to our customers. This role in particular is the bridge between the US-based product and engineering resources and our teams offshore located in Vietnam. Flexibility in evening hours to dedicate to video calls is vitally important (though not every evening).

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience developing web-based software in a team environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional, self-enabled team(s)
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring engineers at all levels
  • Well rounded knowledge of architecting, application development, infrastructure, data and security disciplines
  • Strong understanding of multiple coding languages (C#, Node JS preferred)
  • Experience improving the SDLC of teams to make them more efficient and effective (Agile, Kanban, CI/CD)
  • Ability to bring clarity from chaos without knowing all the details
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work with offshore teams in the evenings. This role requires 1-2X weekly videos calls with our oversees employees/teams around 9-11PM Central Time.
